VGB as European technical association for power and heat generation organizes the exchange of experiences of its members by statute since its inception. While this has taken place by committee meetings, conferences, guidelines/standards and publications, training and research so far, in addition this will be possible in the form of an information database for power plants using fossil or renewable sources of energy - the database "Platform of Experience with Power Plants", shortly named PEPP.
